Role Summary (Mission)

As a Career Counsellor at Aliens Tattoo School, you are the gateway to a student’s transformation. Your mission is to inspire, guide, and convert aspiring artists into confident professionals by matching them with the right creative program. This role blends sales excellence, empathetic counselling, and disciplined lead management to drive admissions and deliver a smooth onboarding experience. You will own the lead funnel from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring high-quality communication and a strong student experience while contributing to the school’s growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions & Sales Conversion

  • Achieve and exceed monthly enrollment targets through effective pitching and follow-ups.

  • Convert inquiries into confirmed enrollments by understanding student aspirations and recommending the right program/course.

  • Conduct engaging virtual/telephonic counselling sessions to build confidence and drive enrollments.

  • Handle objections, counsel students and parents, and close admissions independently.

  • Promote course upgrades, repeat enrollments, and referrals from existing students.

2. Lead Management & CRM Discipline

  • Own the admissions pipeline end-to-end—from first inquiry to final enrollment.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM (Zoho) records with complete tagging, notes, and status updates.

  • Ensure timely follow-ups with zero overdue tasks in the system.

  • Use Ozonetel dialer and Gupshup platform for inbound/outbound communication.

  • Conduct lead mining to identify new opportunities from existing databases.

3. Presentation Scheduling & Attendance

  • Schedule counselling presentations accurately, avoiding overlaps or missed slots.

  • Confirm attendance before sessions to reduce no-shows.

  • Follow up on missed sessions and reschedule quickly to maintain funnel momentum.

4. Collaboration & Handovers

  • Align with mentors and team leaders to ensure expectations are met post-enrollment.

  • Coordinate with departments (placements, retention, etc.) for timely handovers with complete CRM updates.

  • Contribute to a consistently high student experience and strong NPS.

5. Reporting & Quality

  • Submit daily EOD reports covering calls, follow-ups, conversions, and overdue actions.

  • Review QA feedback weekly and implement improvements continuously.

  • Maintain high standards of communication quality, data hygiene, and professional conduct.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in inside sales, edtech counselling, admissions, or telesales.

  • Proven success in achieving revenue/enrollment targets.

  • Experience using CRM tools and a structured sales funnel.

  • Strong communication, counselling, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.

  • Comfort with dialers, Google Workspace, and fast-paced target-driven work.

  • Background in education/counselling/creative industries is a plus.
